NOTE: No Nationally Accredited Units in the Base Course
Pre-requisites for this course is a current HLTAID011 Provide First Aid and current HLTAID009 Provide Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation Certificates, MUST be uploaded or emailed prior to Course attendance.
Course Duration 4 Hours and consists of:
· The role of theEmergency Response Coordinator
· Emergency planning
· Emergency response priorities / on-field assessment of injured participants
· Concussion Management
· Blood Rule
· On field/ Off field communication
· Transporting injured participants

Also available is the Intermediate ERC Course and the Advanced ERC Course.

· #HLTAID011 Provide First Aid
· #HLTAID004 Provide an emergency first aid response in an education and care setting
· Head Injury Assessment(HIA) and handling (taught to you by trained specialists)
· Tape ankle, thumb & fingers.
