Level 2 National Sports Trainer Course: Pre-req: Current Level 1 ST. This is a high level achievement for you to gain this qualification. Course is a National course and follows/exceeds the guidelines set-down. 6 Nationally Recognised units of competency & should be recognised by most sporting codes, we do however recommend you confirm with your sporting body, especially NRL who may not recognise some parts of the training . 
Course consists of 4 Zoom theory trainings dates, each of these are listed in the booking link, plus 2 day period face to face with some small pre course work. After successful completion of Zooms; pre-course work and face-to-face component you will be issued with the Level 2 Sports Trainer Certificate. Level 2 qualification will allow you to commence the pathway towards the new Level 3 Advanced Course. 
The Level 2 National Sports Trainer F2F course consists of the following 6 Nationally Recognised Units:

HLTAID009 Provide Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation 
HLTAID010 Provide Basic Emergency Life Support 
HLTAID011 Provide First Aid 
HLTAID014 Provide advanced first aid 
HLTAID015 Provide advanced resuscitation and oxygen therapy
PUAEMEOO4 Provide Emergency Care for Suspected Spinal Injury

Roles of the L2 Sports Trainer

Dental Injuries & care.

Wound care 
Spinal care. Including application of cervical collars and stretcher use. 
Advanced Airway management and care. 
Fracture immobilisation and splinting. 
Conduct basic warmup & cool down programs 
Follow Work Health & Safety Policy 
Provide Drugs in Sport Information 

Advanced Taping 
SMART Triage Multiple Casualty Incidents and first responding; Wound care; Sports Massage Basics & Sports related Athlete Mental Health & well-being.

This is a very detailed and thorough Course to be conducted by Gregory Bath.

NOTE: The UNITS used for this are Nationally Recognised and portable around Australia, you may need to upload your Certs to your Sporting body . if you are renewing your SMA Credentials then SMA may require you to do their module on-line in regards to their L2, you can supply them your First Aid, Spinal care and Taping statement from us so that you requirement of face to face is reduced. Check with them first.
