Level 1 National Sports Trainer Course for most Sports. PLEASE NOTE: THIS COURSE HAS 4 NATIONALLY RECOGNISED COMPETENCIES. This is the latest updated training for Sports Trainers enabling you to be a Level 1 Sports Trainer in most sports. This course follows and exceeds the guidelines for level 1 Sports Trainer status. It includes 4 Nationally Recognised units of competency and should be recognised by all sporting codes, we do however recommend you confirm with your sporting body prior to booking on course, especially NRL. HLTAID009 - Provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation
HLTAID010 - Provide basic emergency life support

Detailed asthma training also undertaken to conform with Queensland Health requirements.
Detailed concussion and spinal injury's covered.

Modern Communications around grounds & fields.

HLTAID009 - Provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation and PUAEME004 Provide emergency care for suspected spinal injury is annually and HLTAID011 - Provide First Aid at least every 3 years. We suggest that the taping is refreshed at least annually unless it is being practised regularly. We operate a Level 1 Recertification Course.

This unit is designed for those who wish to gain a good understanding of first aid and those that are, or wish to become a designated first aider / sports trainer Level 1 at their sporting club. It is suitable for most sports (ensure you check with your sporting body first, especially NRL who have restrictive trading conditions), AFL, cricket, netball, Rugby Union etc.
